Hello.
For replacement of an old filling in my lower first molar, my dentist said that an inlay would be necessary.
After looking at prices, I noticed a considerable difference between the price of a filling and an inlay, so I would like to know whether an inlay is really necessary for this tooth or whether a new filling would be good enough — considering that I already have a filling there now? I have no problems with the tooth apart from the worn filling.
The dentist only looked at the tooth superficially; he did not open it to actually see how much of the tooth is damaged or needs to be removed.
Does an inlay actually provide a health advantage or is it only aesthetic?
Thank you very much for your answer and kind regards!
Simona

Hello Mr Rotar. I would like to ask the following question. I broke a front tooth in half; can my own tooth be repaired in any way, or do I have to have it extracted and an artificial one made??!! Thank you in advance for your answer. Kind regards. PS — a friend recommended you to me.

Dear Sir/Madam!
The prognosis of the tooth depends on the location of the fracture:
-fractures down to the level of the tooth neck can be treated relatively easily by making a dental crown or a filling
-fractures in the middle third of the root are usually fatal for the tooth
-fractures in the area of the root tip can be treated by removing the tip (apicoectomy).
If you can send me an X-ray, I can answer your question precisely.

Hello I would like to ask: I have chronic periodontitis and I am 33 years old. Over the past year or so I have already lost almost all my teeth. Although I still have 7 teeth in the lower jaw, three of them are already loose. Is there a solution where I could have the remaining teeth extracted and receive a fixed denture on two screws? Other dentists advise me to have a partial denture, but with a heavy heart I do not want a removable denture. I would also like to know whether you work under the public concession. Approximately how much would this cost and is it possible? Thank you in advance for an honest answer. THANK YOU

If I understand the question correctly, you would like a partial denture to be attached to teeth that could still remain in the mouth. This is certainly possible. It is also possible to combine the existing teeth with a fixed construction (bridge) on implants. To prepare an estimate, I would need to see at least an X-ray. You are welcome to visit our clinic, where we will examine you, determine the price of the restoration and set out the treatment schedule.

Hello.. two years ago I had a tooth extracted, the upper right first premolar.. I still have the second premolar.. I would like to know what could be done so that I could have something placed there and there would no longer be a gap? I no longer dare to smile, I am very afraid of the dentist... three years ago I had three ruptured aneurysms and an aneurysm tumor and I do not want any more pain.. could just some kind of implant be placed or something simply fitted on?? Thank you for the answer... kind regards, Adela

Dear Sir/Madam! The missing first premolar can be permanently replaced in two ways.: -making a bridge, which requires preparation of two neighboring abutment teeth, onto which three new crowns are cemented. -placement of an implant, whereby the neighboring teeth are left intact.
Dear Sir/Madam!
The missing first premolar can be permanently replaced in two ways.:
-making a bridge, which requires preparation of two neighboring abutment teeth, onto which three new crowns are cemented.
-placement of an implant, whereby the neighboring teeth are left intact. The implant supports the missing dental crown and represents a completely independent chewing unit. In this particular case, this is certainly the better solution.
Hello. In my upper jaw I have two dentures, one side with 4 teeth and the other with five. I would like to know how much it would cost to restore the entire upper jaw, including the front teeth. Does any part of this fall under health insurance?

Dear Sir/Madam, what is wrong with a tooth that has supposedly been "dead" for a year, yet during root canal cleaning I react as if someone were poking a live wound with a sharp object? Thank you and kind regards.

Dear Sir/Madam!
The pain is caused when the endodontic file touches the periodontal ligament, the membrane that also surrounds the root tip and thus determines the length of the canal. Contact with a responsive periodontal ligament is a good way to check the length of the root canal, and its responsiveness is a sign that the disease process has not yet spread significantly to the periodontal tissues around the root tip.
I would like to know whether it is possible to have all my dental work done at your clinic under local anesthesia? I have quite a few things that need fixing and I would like to have everything done at once. Is that possible and, of course, what would the price be? Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam! Most likely the screw that secures the abutment in the implant has loosened. The problem can be fixed. Have a nice day!
