Dear Sir/Madam! The price of an all-ceramic crown (Zircon) is 350 Eur. If a larger number is made, we can offer a quantity discount. The price includes all procedures required to achieve the desired result. Before the work starts, you receive an exact quotation. Have a nice day!

Hello,
I have been wearing fixed braces for a year and a half. Because my upper right lateral incisor never developed, the arrangement of my teeth did not look very good, so my orthodontist suggested fixed braces to create space for a new tooth where the permanent lateral incisor should be. The space is now large enough, so I slowly have to decide about a dental implant. Since I do not have a root there, I would like to know what solution you would recommend. I am 22 years old. Thank you very much for your answer; it will be of great help to me. Thank you and have a nice day, Maja

Dear Maja! If the bone and anatomical conditions are satisfactory and the neighboring teeth are healthy and intact, we certainly recommend a dental implant. For an exact answer, we would need to see at least an X-ray. Have a nice day!

Dear Sir/Madam! The decision depends exclusively on the treating clinician. If the clinician believes that more complex diagnostic procedures are necessary for a safe procedure, they must be obtained before the procedure. Have a nice day!

Hello!
I am writing to you in the hope of receiving an answer to my question.
I have problems with a tooth 6 which, according to two dentists, cannot be treated successfully in the conventional way. In their opinion, it is impossible to clean the root canals, so they suggested either extracting the tooth or treatment by an endodontist. I do not want the tooth extracted if there is any other solution. The proposed option, treatment by an endodontist, is quite expensive, especially for students who do not have that kind of financial means.
I would therefore like to know whether you have a concession/publicly funded service for this type of treatment, or whether you perhaps know of another specialist who offers it under such an arrangement.
Thank you in advance for a prompt reply, and I wish you a pleasant day!

About a month ago I visited a dentist for a check-up to see whether everything was all right. However, she referred me for an X-ray of all my teeth because she was surprised that I might have periodontal disease at age 36. The images showed that I am at the beginning of this disease. At the last visit she removed tartar and said she would refer me to a clinic in Ljubljana so they could see what is going on and decide on treatment, because she feels this is all happening too early for my age. At the pharmacy I bought Curasept mouthwash, Parodontax toothpaste and dental floss. I would like to know what you think about this and what I should do. I would like to do something as soon as possible, or at least limit or stop what is happening. Could you help me somehow, even if only with advice or also with a visit at your practice?
Thank you for your answer and kind regards!

Dear Sir/Madam!
The diagnosis of the condition of the periodontal tissues is established after examining a panoramic X-ray. At our practice we can make such an X-ray, evaluate the existing condition and propose appropriate treatment. Since your dentist has already referred you to a specialist in periodontal diseases, I of course recommend that you see that specialist. In any case, even without the examinations mentioned, we recommend intensified oral hygiene using the products already mentioned, since the main cause of periodontal disease is precisely the presence of bacterial plaque.

After a baby tooth falls out, the gum at that site is always somewhat different in color. Quite often an eruption hematoma (a sac filled with blood) develops above the crown of the erupting permanent tooth beneath the gum surface; it is bluish in color. It disappears on its own when the tooth erupts. I do not think the change you describe is a cause for alarm.

For years my lower left central incisor has been slowly chipping away. Most recently yesterday. The tooth stands further outward and bears all the load when I bite. Now it hurts, although it never did before. On this tooth my gum also receded because of incorrect brushing (I changed from a medium-hard brush to a soft one and apparently I was pressing too hard). The tooth is not loose. I would like to know whether the chipped tooth can be repaired or whether something more serious is behind it. I have already been to the dentist and she said there was nothing to worry about and did nothing, but my tooth hurts. What can I do? Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards.

Dear Sir/Madam!
In the case of pain, the tooth would need appropriate root canal treatment. Persistent pain, pain on percussion and pressure are signs indicating inflammation or even death of the dental pulp. After the treatment is completed, the tooth is then appropriately rebuilt (with composite materials or an artificial dental crown). Your dentist will take appropriate care of all this.

Dear Sir/Madam!
It is difficult for me to imagine that a tooth would start becoming loose because of tartar removal. It is possible that a large amount of tartar was helping to stabilise the tooth against the neighbouring tooth, which was likewise covered in tartar. The tooth was of course already periodontally compromised (the loss of bone around the tooth root means there is no longer enough support for stability), and the cause of this is precisely excessive accumulation of tartar and bacterial plaque. Tartar definitely has to be removed, and much earlier, before it literally covers the tooth and tooth root. At our practice you can register in the first half of next year.

Hello, recently half of my lower first molar broke off again; the tooth was more or less mostly filling. The tooth is dead and heavily filled. I would like to know what more durable restoration you would suggest, considering the tooth has been dead for about 10 years. Does it even make sense to fill it again? Half of the tooth with the filling is still in the mouth. Should I have a post, a bridge, or an implant made? Does it even make sense to have anything done through public insurance, since healthcare only covers cheaper materials? Which materials do you recommend, because I would like to have the tooth in my mouth for at least a few years afterward? Perhaps you could also give me approximate prices?

Dear Sir/Madam!
If the X-ray shows no particular abnormalities, it is certainly worth keeping the tooth. Usually it is restored with a post and an artificial dental crown. Price of the crown: 210 EUR for a metal-ceramic crown, 350 EUR for an all-ceramic crown. If the X-ray shows extensive periapical processes or other abnormalities that are incompatible with a good prognosis for the tooth, the tooth can be extracted and replaced with a dental implant. Price: 750 EUR (implant) + 420 EUR (dental crown on implant) = 1170 EUR.
