Hello.
I have a question for you. Is it possible to place implants in any way if there is not enough jawbone, considering both the thickness and width of the bone? Can this be solved by grafting artificial bone? And what actually is artificial bone? Can a small piece of bone be taken, for example, from the arm bone, hips, etc.? Thank you very much for your answer and have a nice day.

Dear Sir/Madam!
If the anatomical conditions are not satisfactory (too little bone), we use various regenerative procedures to increase the quantity and/or quality of bone at the site where we want to place the implant. There are different bone substitutes that are not of human origin (completely synthetic substitutes or prepared animal bone), or bone can be transferred from a donor site inside or outside the mouth (rib, hips) to the affected area. Bone augmentation techniques can be combined with splitting of the alveolar ridge or repositioning of the course of a nerve. We also often use immediate implantation after tooth extraction, which helps preserve the dimensions of the alveolar ridge and thus avoid situations long after tooth extraction when the dimensions of the available bone are often no longer sufficient.
Have a nice day!
