Hello,
I have had a removable upper denture for several years. Is it possible to place implants and secure the denture?
In the lower jaw only a few decayed teeth remain; what would I need for a fixed denture? I would like everything to be completed in the shortest possible time, so I am interested in the price and the time until the treatment is finished. I am 39 years old.
Thank you
Dentist Tomaž Rotar answers:
Dear Sir/Madam!
A dental denture can be secured with dental implants. To stabilize a conventional full denture, we need two implants. Price:
-750 Eur (implant) X 2 = 1500 Eur
-700 Eur (full denture)
If you want a denture without a palatal plate (the palate is not covered), we need four implants and a denture with a cast metal framework (a cast partial-type framework or cast base). Price:
-750 Eur (implant) X 4 = 3000 Eur
-900 Eur (denture with cast base)
The timeline depends on the quality (density) of the bone and the anatomical conditions in the jaw. In the best case, the implants can be loaded immediately (the whole procedure then takes approx. 10 days); if bone augmentation is required, conditions are poor, etc., we may wait as long as four months before loading. Throughout this period you wear a temporary prosthetic restoration, the price of which is included in the offers above. For additional information call 040 294488.
Have a nice day!
