Despite brushing my teeth regularly - twice a day - my teeth are badly damaged. Almost all of them are filled with silver fillings, because my previous dentist says that only these work well for me. Is that true?
In the past I also drank as many as 3 coffees a day, and deposits formed on my teeth. Because of this my dentist was irritable and rude to me. That is why I have not been for a check-up with her for 3 years and I do not intend to go back.
My entire upper right jaw, or the root areas, hurts. What could be the cause?
I would like to know how long repairing the teeth in your clinic would take and what the prices are for white and silver fillings. I have 13 silver fillings. Is it possible to repair several teeth at once? Concession treatment?

Amalgam (silver) fillings, at least in the posterior region, often perform better than white or composite fillings. The reason is the greater chewing loads, which amalgam tolerates better than composites, and the method of placement; white fillings require very good working conditions, good isolation and visibility, which is difficult to achieve in the posterior region without the use of a rubber dam. When replacing extensive silver fillings with a more aesthetic solution, we therefore prefer to recommend inlays or onlays, which meet aesthetic and quality standards.
To diagnose the disease process in the upper right region, we would need a diagnostic X-ray or a panoramic X-ray.
The price of a white filling (two surfaces) is EUR 50. The price of an inlay (Adoro) is EUR 210. For a larger number of inlays we offer a 10-20% discount.
