Dear Sir/Madam,
At my last dental visit the dentist diagnosed me with bruxism. Only my incisors are worn. I do not have the typical manifestations of this condition: headaches, pain in the chewing muscles and neck. Apart from the worn teeth, this is the only sign.
I would like to know the approximate cost of a dental splint and whether there is any other solution to my problem.
Thank you for your answer.

On the lower right I have a bridge from the second premolar to the second molar, which has already been operated on twice (apicoectomy of tooth 45), and a granuloma has appeared again. I would now like to know how this could be treated. Is it possible to place an implant instead of the second premolar and make a bridge to the second molar? Does the first molar also have to be replaced? On the lower left I am also missing a tooth (first molar) and would like to have an implant. What are the possible complications? I would also like to know the price and how long it would take to complete the treatment. I also had inflammation of the right ear; could this be related to the tooth? Thank you and kind regards.

Dear Sir/Madam!
An implant can be placed in place of the second premolar; either immediately after extraction or approximately two months after removal of the tooth, depending on the condition of the bone at the site of the procedure. After implant placement, we wait two to three months before continuing the procedure. During this time the implant integrates with the bone. For placement of the artificial dental crown on the implant, we need two visits one week apart. The bridge on the lower left can therefore be supported by the implant and the second molar (it is not necessary to place two implants). Price of the procedure: - EUR 750 (implant without bone augmentation) - EUR 420 (crown on implant) - EUR 219 (pontic or crown on tooth) X 2 = EUR 420 Total: EUR 1,590.

After the procedure described, we always recommend cooling. If some acute inflammation occurs even after four days, ice cream is certainly appropriate. Have a nice day!

Hello,
I have one question. Both lower first molars need to be extracted. Both teeth have been treated extensively and have now literally fallen apart. Only the roots are left. My dentist referred me to an oral surgeon. Since I am only 32 years old and have no major problems with the other teeth, I am tempted to have implants placed. Please tell me the price for 2 implants, and I would also like to know whether it is better for you to extract the teeth before placement of the implants.
Thank you and kind regards.

Dear Sir/Madam! Price of the procedure you are asking about: - EUR 750 (implant without bone augmentation) X 2 = EUR 1,500, - EUR 420 X 2 = EUR 840, - total = EUR 2,340. We can also extract the teeth ourselves. Have a nice day!

Dear Sir/Madam! I would like to know how you could help me because my lower teeth "move" if I touch them with my finger. I tried mouthwash and it was better for a while, but then it became the same again. What could the solution be? Have a nice day!

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you with a question concerning my son. On 27 September 2011 he fell from a BMX bicycle and partially broke both upper central incisors. A local X-ray was taken; teeth 11 and 21 showed no fracture in the roots, while tooth 12 showed a thin fracture at the junction between the root and the crown. Because the pulps were exposed, the teeth were protected with cement.
He is now being treated by his chosen dentist. Since the injury he has visited her twice. At the second examination it was established that the pulp in one of the broken teeth had died. We have arranged for the dentist to remove the dead pulp on 17 November 2011 and fill the tooth with artificial material. My son was quite psychologically affected by this accident, as he is 12 years old and the broken teeth reduce his self-image and give him a feeling of inferiority (sensitive developmental years). The dentist also said that we would need to wait at least another six months before any restoration or rebuilding of the broken teeth — probably until April 2012. She also told us that definitive restoration (dental crowns) would only be possible after the age of 18.
I would like to know whether faster restoration of the teeth is possible and in what way. I would also like to know whether it is possible to change the colour of the tooth whose pulp has died, or whether this can be changed with a ceramic veneer. What would such a procedure cost with you and how long would it take?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

If the tooth has been successfully root-canal treated, has no symptoms and the X-ray is impeccable, an individual crown can be made. Prosthetic work that would connect several teeth is certainly contraindicated, as this could influence proper growth of the jaw. If we want to change the colour of a non-vital and damaged tooth, it is most appropriate to do so with a dental crown and a root post, because this restores the tooth not only aesthetically but also functionally. Price of a dental crown: - EUR 210 (metal-ceramic) - EUR 350 (all-ceramic).

Since then it occasionally becomes inflamed and causes severe pain. I had to go to the dentist again, who inserted a strip and prescribed an antibiotic. Since I will not see him over the weekend, I would like to know whether I can remove the strip myself or whether it is better, although the same strip has already been in place for 2 days, to leave it and wait for the dentist to remove it and insert a new one.
Thank you for your answer and kind regards.
