The teeth can be replaced with a removable prosthetic solution (partial denture) or a fixed prosthetic solution (placement of implants and a fixed construction). Denture prices vary depending on the method of fabrication and the quality of the denture: -EUR 500 (conventional acrylic partial denture) -EUR 900 (partial denture with a cast metal base) -EUR 900 (partial denture with a cast metal base) + fixed-prosthetic preparation with precision attachments (the price depends on the status). Insurance covers an acrylic denture through the chosen dentist after the waiting period has elapsed.

Teeth 3 and 6 are healthy! What should be done? Implant? How long does the procedure take, what is the price for the entire treatment, and can an additional tooth (cantilever) also be made on the implant crown — in my case tooth 6? Is payment in instalments possible?
What do you advise?
Thank you very much for your answer.
Have a nice day!

The best solution is certainly an implant, because this allows you to avoid grinding healthy teeth. Usually two implants are required, although due to certain anatomical and other conditions it is sometimes possible to use one implant with a cantilever. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes. Crowns can be fitted after a few months (3 to 4). During this time the gap is restored with a temporary replacement. Price: - EUR 750 (implant) X 2 = EUR 1500. - EUR 420 (crown on implant) X 2 = EUR 840. Payment in instalments is possible.

Dear Sir/Madam! We can make only the prosthetic restoration. Let us know the type of implant so that we can prepare accordingly. Price of the restoration (for Bredent): - EUR 420 (metal-ceramic crown) - EUR 700 (all-ceramic crown with zirconia abutment). Have a nice day!

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am missing half of both upper central incisors, or rather the teeth are worn into a curved shape because I wore a piercing for many years and it "ate away" the teeth. Both upper first and second premolars have been treated, but they broke after childbirth. I would like to know whether I could have veneers on the front teeth and how the others could be restored. I have already read a lot about the prices; I am only interested in how much I would have to pay additionally for the upper first and second premolars, since insurance covers something because they have been treated, and for the upper central incisors because I would like veneers, or porcelain crowns if veneers were not possible. I would also like to know how long the restoration would take.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Kind regards

The price of the service depends on the material you choose: - EUR 210 (metal-ceramic crown) - EUR 350 (all-ceramic crown – zirconia) - EUR 350 (ceramic veneer) All teeth can be restored at the same time, so you would need two or three visits over a two-week period.

Hello,
I have a crown on my upper central incisor. This tooth has hurt several times, or rather it has been sensitive. Twice a pus-filled bump appeared above it — so twice in approximately 9 years.
When it appeared in December 2011, I went to the dentist and he told me that it was nothing serious, just inflammation. When I mentioned apicoectomy, he said he might not recommend it yet. He said that if it was causing me such psychological distress I could have it done, otherwise I should rather tolerate the small swelling and keep the tooth, which might have to be extracted after apicoectomy if they found that it was vertically fractured.
Then I discussed this with my former dentist, who had a different opinion and said that I should have the apicoectomy performed. She warned me that the bone could also be dissolving and frightened me quite a lot.
I then obtained a referral; below I will describe what is written on it. I am interested in your opinion. At present the tooth does not hurt at all and I have absolutely no problems with it, and this has been the case since December. In this situation I really do not want the tooth to be opened and apicoectomised... I cannot even imagine what would happen if the tooth were extracted. It is my upper central incisor, I am young and I have nice teeth, and their appearance means a great deal to me. My dentist believes that all of this could only bring even more problems.
Please help me, because I already have an appointment with the surgeon on Wednesday 23 March at 10 in the morning and I do not know what to do.
On the referral – description – chronic apical periodontitis
21 periodontal condition, fractura verticalis radicis dentis? ...the question mark was added by the dentist
- occasional pain, mild swelling apically at 21
- mucosa unchanged, palpable swelling in the region of the apex of 21
...please answer me. I would also make an appointment with you in the future, but right now I need your opinion as well.
Sincere thanks and all the best, Diana

If the root canals are not patent, or the canal is inaccessible for other reasons (root post), then in the clinical situation described we consider an apicoectomy. The success rate of apicoectomy is quite low, especially in cases where its performance is limited by certain anatomical, pathological or other factors. To make a decision I would need to see the X-ray.

In that case, the crown or material can darken because the tooth core also darkens. A porcelain crown generally does not change colour.

Dear Sir/Madam!
In the 5th grade of primary school I injured both upper front central incisors. I then underwent treatment and repair of the teeth. In the 8th grade the dentist made "posts" and crowns. Soon afterwards I had pain in my left arm, neck and on the left below the heart (AT THE TIME I DID NOT CONNECT THIS). The cardiologist only said it was minor nervousness! Later I occasionally experienced an irregular heartbeat or arrhythmia; that was around the age of 18 when I first felt it. I am now 34, and when I last visited my dentist, approximately half a year ago, he noticed an irregularity next to the "post" on the panoramic X-ray. Some kind of "void" where harmful bacteria could possibly develop, or something like that. For the first time I then somehow connected the pain in my arm with the teeth. I am otherwise being treated for sudden palpitations, which are of psychosomatic origin! Is there any possibility of a connection between a defect or contamination around the "post" and health problems such as sleep disorders, palpitations and feeling unwell, for which I now take PAROXAT? Thank you for your valued opinion! Kind regards!

I believe there is no connection between the two problems described. This certainly does not mean that the tooth does not require additional treatment, because it represents a chronic focus that can cause disease elsewhere in the body (focal infections). However, I believe that the irregular heartbeat is not connected with this type of focus.

Hello!
Both of my upper lateral incisors are crooked and protrude outward. I would like to know whether they can be corrected in any other way besides braces, because there is not enough space behind them for them to return to the proper position (the canines are too close; at the orthodontic examination I was told that this is genetically determined and nothing can be done). So, could it be corrected with veneers or in some other way, and what would the price be?
Thank you very much in advance for your answer.

Dear Sir/Madam!
The best way to correct the problem described is certainly orthodontic treatment (with braces). If this is excluded for professional or subjective reasons, the problem can be corrected with fixed prosthetic treatment (crowns, veneers...). Most often, treatment is also necessary on neighbouring teeth, so I cannot give you an exact amount. In any case, an examination, X-ray imaging and careful consideration of the relatively radical procedure are necessary before making a decision. I can give you the price for each individual restoration: - EUR 350 (ceramic veneer) - EUR 350 (all-ceramic crown) - EUR 210 (metal-ceramic crown).

Dear Sir/Madam! A missing lower tooth 6 can be replaced in two ways: - if you still have tooth 7 present, we can make a bridge from tooth 5 to tooth 7. This of course requires preparation of both abutment teeth. Price for one side: - EUR 210 (crown) X 3 = EUR 630. A better option

Price for one side: - EUR 210 (crown) X 3 = EUR 630. A better option is to place a dental implant at the site of the missing tooth, leaving the adjacent teeth intact. Price: - EUR 750 (implant) - EUR 420 (crown on implant) - total: EUR 1170. We do not charge separately for extraction of the roots.
