Hello!
Last summer I suddenly developed unbearable pain in my lower right second molar. My dentist told me that I had deep caries and already then said it was uncertain whether everything would be all right with the tooth. She wanted to send me for an X-ray, but I told her I was pregnant. She nevertheless opened the tooth and began treating it with endodontic files; at the end she sealed it with a white medication and scheduled me for another visit in September. That was when I was due to give birth, so I did not return. Ten months have passed since the last visit, and the tooth remained open for that long. Because of pain I visited her again at the beginning of May. She sent me for an X-ray. The X-ray indicates Ko41 — pulp necrosis. She also told me that with her instruments she cannot reach the canals or that they are not patent. I am therefore asking you what I should do. Any advice would be very helpful. I would also like to know whether this tooth or its roots can still be treated, or whether I will have to go to an oral surgeon for extraction. Thank you very much for your answer and kind regards!

Hello,
in recent months I have been having problems with my teeth; within a few months I ended up with 3 non-vital teeth. Will this have an effect on my immune system? A tooth in which I have medication has no nerve, yet it still hurts. I do not understand why. I am missing both lower first molars; how can this be resolved? Do you treat periodontal disease, perform gum grafting or aesthetic correction? Is a visit to you possible only on a self-pay basis? I am looking for the right dentist who would treat my oral cavity from every aspect: aesthetics, periodontology and replacement of missing teeth. Thank you for your answer.

Kind regards. Please give me an approximate price for an 11-tooth bridge. I already have 3 screws/implants placed in the lower jaw. I would like this to be covered through health insurance.

Dear Sir/Madam! The price of the procedure you are asking about is: -210 Eur (ceramic crown) X 11 = 2310 Eur If you have three implants in the jaw, the three crowns on them are more expensive. The price is then 630 Eur higher. Have a nice day!

On Tuesday my dentist removed excess gum tissue over a wisdom tooth. He placed two yellow strips on the wound. Yesterday I managed to remove one, but the other remained inside. The strip is now white and disintegrating (if it is still the strip at all), and I cannot remove it because it is strongly "stuck" to the wound. Will anything be wrong if the strip remains inside?

The images showed that the incisor has moved away from the bone (the two teeth are spreading apart). None of my teeth are loose, but he told me that I am predisposed to periodontal disease. Can this gap between the teeth be corrected, and how? I would also like to know whether this stinging-type pain can be prevented.
Thank you for your answer and kind regards!

Dear Sir/Madam!
The simplest method is to build up and reshape the dental crown with composite materials. The procedure is quick and non-radical, but composites may become discoloured over time. Moving the teeth back to their original position with orthodontic treatment is a better method, but it is slow and requires a fixed appliance for a longer period (one year). The procedure can be carried out if there are no signs of advanced periodontal disease.

Hello! I am a fourth-year dental medicine student. About a month ago my dentist replaced an occlusal amalgam filling on tooth 16 with an MOD composite restoration. Before the procedure I had no problems with the tooth, but since then I experience severe pain when biting, especially on harder food. The pain is sharp and disappears soon after the stimulus is removed. Because of this I have not eaten on that side for a month. Otherwise the tooth is not sensitive to heat or cold, nor to light percussion. I also do not feel that the filling is too high. What could be causing this pain? Thank you for your answer and kind regards.

Dear Sir/Madam!
Amalgam is still the best filling material for restorations in the posterior region. Disturbances in the form of hypersensitivity to changes in osmotic pressure or temperature changes occur very often after replacement. Based on what you have written, however, I believe that a small area of dentine may have remained uncovered or may have become exposed while polishing the filling. It is also possible that the filling is too thin and flexes slightly under heavy force, which triggers the described problem. Sometimes an air bubble becomes trapped in the composite, which could also cause similar problems.

I am 27 years old, I still have my whole future ahead of me, and my teeth are truly a disaster. Because of illness and poor genetic predisposition, I have lost almost all my teeth. I waited two years for an appointment at the dental clinic, and when the day finally came they took all the impressions, X-rays and other documentation and materials, but the matter has been dragging on from month to month and every time they postpone me to a later date.
I would like to know whether I could make an appointment for an examination with you. Like anyone else, I am also interested in payment and to what extent there is an option for insurance coverage.
Kind regards and thank you very much,
Barbara
