At the same time I would need the porcelain crowns on my upper central incisors replaced and the chipped lateral incisors repaired. I would like to know the approximate cost of the procedures so I can see whether it makes sense for me to come for an examination (from my financial point of view). Thank you.

When I lived in Slovenia you were already my chosen dentist, so even now that I live and am insured abroad I am contacting you.
In the last year, part of my upper right first molar has broken off three times, and after visiting two different dentists in Germany, they explained to me that I need a crown placed (please excuse me if I am using the professional terms incorrectly).
Despite partial financial coverage of the procedure by my insurance company, the treatment is still very expensive. I would therefore like to know what the price of this service is for self-paying patients at your practice and how the treatment would proceed (since in that case I would have to come to Slovenia).
Best regards.

Dear Sir/Madam! In our practice we have already placed implants in patients with the condition you mention. So far we have not observed any particular differences during or after the procedures. The price of an implant is EUR 750 (EUR 1000 if bone augmentation is required). The number of implants required for the restoration depends on the type of prosthetic superstructure chosen. The simplest type of treatment requires two implants in each jaw, which additionally stabilise a complete denture. For a fixed prosthetic restoration with a bridge, we need six to ten implants in each jaw. For an exact assessment of the costs, please visit our practice. Have a nice day!

Hello,
I would like to know whether ZZZS covers the cost of an implant in the upper jaw, tooth no. 3 on the right side. When I was young this primary tooth fell out, and there was then a gap because the permanent tooth did not erupt. This permanent tooth was surgically removed when I was 16 because it did not come "out". Before that, they removed part of the jaw tissue to reach the tooth and, with the help of braces, tried to pull it out with an elastic band (I cannot explain the procedure precisely or professionally). Because this method was unsuccessful, they removed it and I now have a gap between the teeth, which is of course especially noticeable when I smile. If it is covered, what exactly is covered; if it is not covered, what would the price be?
I would also like my two front teeth (central incisors) to be slightly ground so that both teeth would have the same level. Price?

Tooth whitening is theoretically a chemical injury to the surface of the tooth enamel (demineralisation), and from a professional point of view I advise against it.

I have a titanium implant.
Someone advised me not to use toothpastes containing fluoride, because it is supposedly harmful to my implant.
I really would not like to do that, since it has been proven that fluoride prevents the development of caries.
What do you advise?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

On my second molar a composite filling placed near the gum has fallen out three times within six months. Each new placement requires additional drilling of the tooth. Is it possible to place a different (non-amalgam) filling that would adhere better to the tooth? Best regards.

Hello,
my husband and I are planning a pregnancy. Conception could be possible in as little as 8 days.
In three days I am scheduled for treatment of a granuloma with an antibiotic. What effect would this granuloma treatment have on a possible embryo - fetus?
It would also be necessary to treat caries on other teeth, for which I would need an injection. How harmful is the injection during pregnancy, and is it possible to use some other pain-relieving and more acceptable agent?
I really would not like to postpone the desired pregnancy and we hope that dental treatment is possible without a greater risk to the fetus.
Thank you for your answer,
best regards,
Katja

Dear Sir/Madam!
During pregnancy we avoid procedures that could lead to the need for urgent treatment with systemic antibiotics. If the procedure is unavoidable, we consult a gynaecologist about prescribing antibiotics. Pregnancy is not an obstacle to dental treatment under local anaesthesia. We do not know of a more acceptable alternative.
